| The STW racing season of 1999 |

 BACK TO OVERVIEW
 For private driver Heinrich Symanzick, the first two STW races in 1999 ended with technical defects. Another German tuner failed because of the highly developed technology of the former company car.
We, team Risse Motorsport, were then asked for help by the Opel Flash magazine, one of the main sponsors of the STW Vectra.
From this day, MLK-Tuning from Kaiserslautern were responsible for an excellent management, and a friendship began.

The Opel Vectra with the STW number 16 was then completely prepared by us and also maintained reliably at the track! Having realised a complete dismantling of the engine we were able to increase even more the performance potential of the engine. Measuring of top speeds at the following STW events confirmed the new performance potential of the engine.
At all measurings, the car was in the leading group of the numerous private drivers. Even some factory teams were left behind!
We travelled from the Norisring to the Nürburgring, then to the Salzburgring, to Oschersleben, Hockenheim and again to the Nürburgring where in the final race of the STW we even ended as second best Opel behind Uwe Alzen.
With our experience in racing of more than 20 years we were able to get used quickly to the demanding task and, using our great competence, present one of the most reliable cars of the STW cup. Since the beginning of our technical support no breakdown occurred in the races. Such a series was unheard of before.
Thereby, the driver Heinrich Symanzick got the technical prerequisite to become one of the best private teams of the championship.
