Franz Seitz discovered quite early his enthusiasm for motorsports. He first came in contact with it by various holiday jobs and practical trainings at a well-known company that built racing cars in his home town Rutesheim. So he came in contact with one of the first aluminium Monocoque racing cars.

Roman Sonderbauer already began with motorsports in the early 80s. In his first slalom races he drove an Opel Kadett C Coupé. Over the years he achieved some remarkable results at rallies as well as circuit and long-distance tracks with very different cars such as a turbo Porsche.

Holger Hovemann, who as high-flyer acquired the national A racing license in 2000, seven times defended his title as overall champion of the KW hill climb cup and as champion of the DMSB hill climb cup for touring cars.

The success list of cars with Risse engines is quite impressive: From class champion in the long-distance cup, multiple overall champion at the Nürburgring Castrol Haugg Cup, winner of the DMSB hill climb cup for touring cars and winner of division II of KW hill climb cup to overall champion of KW hill climb cup.
