Plenty of practical knowledge gathered during more than 20 years in the motor sport scene combined with successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, this is the basis on which Dietrich Risse has built his company „Risse Motorsport“ and is further expanding. Besides the manufacturing and distribution of „normal“ motor tuning parts for Opel cars we develop mainly racing parts, primarily for the use in motor sport but also for all motorists interested in motor tuning who want to boost the standard motor of their car.
All motor parts as well as conversions and other services are subject to constant further development and quality assurance. In this sense motor developments for example are based on thermodynamic computer calculations of gas exchange processes for an optimum determination of intake and exhaust systems, specific mean pressure, camshaft lift curve, performance and torque results in terms of rpm etc. These modes of calculation save long series of experiments for the optimisation of power and make possible a high performance level even in the initial stage of motor development.
Additionally, there is the long-standing, active participation of the company in motor sport, which has contributed in great degree to our good image when it comes to powerful, stable and protest-proof competition engines (for example Opel CIH engine with cut 24V cylinder head, which we have brought to the top of hill climbing, and Vectra 2.0 STW [Special touring car] engine with 210 kW/286 hp for long-distance racing).
We particularly dedicate ourselves to the reproduction of engine and car parts that are no longer available.
