Plenty of practical knowledge gathered during more than 20 years in the motor sport scene combined with successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, this is the basis on which Dietrich Risse has built his company „Risse Motorsport“ and is further expanding. Besides the manufacturing and distribution of „normal“ motor tuning parts for Opel cars we develop mainly racing parts, primarily for the use in motor sport but also for all motorists interested in motor tuning who want to boost the standard motor of their car.
All motor parts as well as conversions and other services are subject to constant further development and quality assurance. In this sense, the motor developments for example are based on thermodynamic computer calculations of charge exchange processes for an optimum determination of intake and exhaust systems, on specific mean pressure, on camshaft high area curves, on performance and torque results in terms of rpm etc. These modes of calculation save long series of experiments for the optimisation of power and make possible a high performance level even in the initial stage of motor development.
Additionally, there is the long-standing, active participation of the owner of the company in motor sport, which has contributed in great degree to our good image when it comes to powerful, stable and protest-proof competition engines (for example Opel A400 engine with 238 kW/324 hp or Vectra 2.0 STW [Special touring car] engine for long-distance races with 210 kW/286 hp). New highlights are the tuning levels of the current Corsa B/Tigra engine 1,6 16V for your on-road vehicle .
Without „opening“ the motor you can already obtain considerable 113 kW/154 hp only by installing a special intake pipe (+17 hp), 2 camshafts (+10 hp) and a special exhaust system with manifold (+21 hp). A race motor with far more than 155 kW (210 hp) is already being tested.
